Terms of Purchase

These terms apply when you buy training from Shine J Academy (“Shine J Academy,” “we,” “us”). By checking out you accept them. Questions before you buy: [email protected].

What you’re buying

Shine J Academy sells digital training products: self-paced video programs and downloadable materials for licensed stylists and locticians. Unless stated otherwise on the checkout page, every purchase is a one-time payment for lifetime access to the material listed on that page.

Access and delivery

• Access details are delivered by email immediately after checkout.
• “Lifetime access” means for as long as the program is offered and available. If we ever retire a program, we’ll give paid members reasonable notice and a way to download materials where the format allows.
• Access is personal to you. Sharing login credentials, reselling access, or distributing course materials is not permitted and may result in access being revoked without refund.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your statement will show a descriptor similar to “SHINE J ACADEMY” (set by our Stripe account). Where a payment plan is offered, the terms shown at checkout govern. Failed installment payments may pause access until resolved. All prices are in US dollars and are charged in full at checkout unless a payment plan is shown on the checkout page.

Refund policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you request a refund within 14 days of your purchase date, we will refund the full purchase price to your original payment method. Requests made more than 14 days after purchase are not eligible — after that window, all sales are final.

No professional or income guarantee

The training teaches a technique and a business system. Any income figures discussed on our pages or in our trainings are illustrative examples, not a guarantee. Your income depends on your market, your pricing, your skill, and the work you put in. Shine J Academy does not guarantee earnings. Certification of completion reflects course completion — it is not a state license, and licensing requirements vary by state.

Intellectual property

All course content — videos, downloads, scripts, and templates — is our property (or licensed to us) and is provided for your personal use in your own business. You may apply what you learn with your own clients; you may not redistribute the materials themselves.

Changes and support

We may update course content over time. Support questions about the material can be sent to [email protected]; response times are described on the relevant program page.

Law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. You agree to contact us first and attempt to resolve any dispute informally before filing a claim. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to their venue.
